this morning we start our drive by saying goodbye to the screaming dune then we cross the draa valley again. But this time the terrain will be open and The route is getting to be totally mysterious as you never know what to expect to see today .
All over the way before getting to Iriqi lake you will be exposed to a variety of dunes as you will be circulating the great dune of erg chegaga from the east and if you are lucky enough you may meet with wild gazelles in their remote home far from civilisation as they mostly can be seen around there.at a particular time you be driving upon the old channel that used to pour water on iriqi lake but as draa valley changed its route there is only its buried dry trench .
After a relaxing break on Iriqi lake endless horizon and discovering how tiny you are in comparison with 25 empty kilometres that was the home of flora and fauna and one of the main stops for birds .you will head to have a visit to nomads tents and get to your lunch under the shade of an Acacia tree next to dradir nomads settlement where you will learn about their life as nomads living in the desert with their animals goats and donkeys, how do their kids get their schooling in this remote area.
By the end of the day you will be driven to camp under the big dunes of erg chegaga .And here you will have different options as the place is very large and you can choose either to camp next to the grassing spot where camel herd around with a panoramic. Or weather you want to hike the highest dune to get to the top and enjoy the view from up.
